Rediscover Farmingdale Village
Thank you to All that Voted ~ Farmingdale Village ~ Best of Long Island ~ Best Downtown!
• Enhance the experience of visitors to the Downtown.
• Promote commerce for the businesses in the district.
• Work together with community organizations to host special events.
• Work with local, county and state agencies to maintain a safe, clean and walkable business district.
The Business Improvement District is funded by a small tax on the businesses on either side of Main Street from Prospect Street to 7-11 just north of the railroad tracks. Funding can also come from grants from private benefactors or federal, state or county governments. The money will pay for things such as collective marketing, TV commercials, web presence, security for large events like Music on Main, and snow removal after major storms.
